Palm Coast Parkway 6 Laning Project
Palm Coast Parkway 6 Laning Project

Welcome to the Palm Coast Parkway 6-Laning Project Website. The project entails widening of approximately 1.23 miles of Palm Coast Parkway from Cypress Point Parkway/Boulder Rock Drive to Florida Park Drive with the addition of pedestrian/bike paths on both sides Palm Coast Parkway. The anticipated widening of Palm Coast Parkway would consist of adding one lane to the outside of the existing four-lane divided roadway. The existing bridge over I-95 was constructed to accommodate a six-lane roadway and would require no new construction.

The project will consist of new asphalt pavement, drainage, concrete curb and gutter, and sidewalks. In addition, the project will include streetscape and irrigation, and upgrades to storm water retention ponds and traffic control, including signage, striping and signalization.

Vehicular and pedestrian traffic as well as continuous access to the businesses and residences will be maintained throughout the corridor for the duration of construction.

A Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) Study has been completed and was approved November of 2010.

Currently the project is in the Design and Right-of-Way Phase.
